I created this instrument, my first, for Abou Diarra. We made the neck together and thanks to his experience in the field, I was able to learn about the spaces between the strings and the mechanical placements on the neck.
Even though this instrument has more strings, it is still easy to play and has the potential to play a very large range of melodies. It is, without a doubt, an excellent choice for Music Therapy.

Different options available
- Straps: Choice of colored woven cotton : +100€

For the leather option, choose what you would like and write any additional information (i.e. suede, left handed bass) in the additional information section on your order form.

This is a hybrid instrument of my own creation. The sound is similar to that of the donsongoni (guitar used by hunters in west Africa). I’ve added 2 strings with a lower pitch so that this instrument can be played in the same octave as a kamalengoni.
